Rights?

There is a slogan that says, “If you don’t know your rights, you don’t have any.” which very clearly states a very basic and common problem in this country. If left to the average Obama voter your rights might be described as being that we  should have such rights as government paying for our gas, house, food, healthcare, and everything else from cradle to grave.  I think the clip from Howard Stern interviewing Obama supporters very clearly sums up the problem.

Clearly this illustrates how uninformed, unintelligent, and racist the election actually was. It had nothing whatsoever to do with issues, current events, or the problems facing this country. It was a popularity contest which was won by the “cool, black guy” because he speaks so well and sounds so good.  It was also as much an anti-Bush vote as a coronation for Obama.  It had as much to do with the Acorn voters wanting and needing small sums of cash, cigarettes, and empty promises of goodies that they would recieve once Obama was elected and little to do with national security, sovereignty, prosperity, or any other issue.  

 

And now, we will have to suffer the consequences and pray that we will survive the runaway freight train headed for the inevitable wreck that will be the socialist government as designed and created by radical, partisan, leftists comprising the Obama administration. We have yet to see the onslaught of assaults which are certainly to come at the hands of these misguided cretins.  

 

With total disregard for the Constitution and Bill of Rights established by the founders your rights will be whatever Obama decides that they will be.  One has only to examine what Obama thinks and says about the bill of negative rights.

Seems like I vaguely remember something about swearing an oath to “Defend and preserve” our Constitution but hey, that was just campaign rhetoric, right? After all, just look at everything that was promised during the campaign like no lobbyists, the most ethical cabinet in history, and total transparency and so forth.  After campaigning as a so called “moderate or centrist” it certainly seems that Obama and his handlers are doing anything and everything that is as far left as you can go with regard to governing. Of course, it certainly seems that Obama is still in campaign mode and is absolutely clueless with regard to actually governing.  Obama is off to a three day vacation after having the most massive, pork laden, government grab in the history of this country. The sky was falling, it meant the end of life as we know it if they didn’t pass this monstrosity of a nightmare and yet Obama isn’t even going to sign it until who knows when? 

 

And, in the spirit of free speech there are an increasing number of elected Obanoids who are planning on bringing back legislation to silence their critics in talk radio. We can expect to see the first amendment trampled on under the guise of the so called “Fairness Doctrine” which will of course be renamed and disguised as something else but is clearly designed to silence voices such as Rush Limbagh, Sean Hannity, and anyone else who dare oppose the enlightened thinking and accepted politically correct philosophy of life such as established by the liberals.  Even though print media, cable, and just about every conceivable form of media in this country is clearly slanted left and is owned and run by leftists in most cases these wonderful, tolerant, knee jerk hypocrites pathetically decry the need for balance and fairness. Despite such shining examples of fairness and tolerance as publicly funded NPR radio, the failing NY Times, and the numerous failures of “Air America”, they whine and cry that they must re institute the “Fairness Doctrine”. 

 

There is little doubt that the first amendment will not be the only right which will be under an all out assault from an Obama administration. Although he claimed to be in favor of the 2nd amendment, Obama has surrounded himself with anti gun zealots.  But then again, do you honestly think that criminals are going to pay any attention to the over 10.000 current gun laws that we have in this country? If you ban our guns does it mean we can use swords?

 

I pray that we will all return to at the very least a minimal understanding of our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and what our founders intended this great nation to be. Without an understanding of not only the rights as enumerated by the founders, but also the unalienable rights from our creator, then what rights do we really have?
